Beneath the Crystal Caverns: An 8th Level Adventure for 5th Edition

$4.99

The town of Bellweather sits far up on the western slopes of the Tallspire Mountains. A logging camp turned town, it boasts a sizable population and is experiencing a period or prosperity as demand for the ironwood trees in its region is high. Recently, however, expeditions deeper into the mountainous terrain have been disappearing. Strange lights can be seen off in the hillside at night sometimes, and the faint screaming of dying animals can be heard on the wind. Unbeknownst to the residents of the small town, a pair of behirs have taken up residence in a cave nearby and have been preying on anyone and anything that strays too close to their lair. The only person to have seen the creatures and lived is a lone hunter named Callus who fled when his hunting party was attacked. Unfortunately, one of the creatures followed close behind and Callus barely had time to warn the town before the behir came crashing through the gates and unleashed its lightning breath upon the poor man, turning him into a charred corpse. Now, the creature is rampaging through Bellweather, killing and devouring whatever it can. Unless a group of adventurers can stop it, the town might be done for.
