Lord Davus Sargo's pregnant wife Timolia is gravely ill. All attempts to heal her have failed and both the clerics and doctors are at a loss. One night, a letter arrived carried by a wretched creature cloaked in rotten rags. It claimed to offer a cure for the lady's ailment, however, the cost was their first born child. Unwilling to pay such a high price, the lord tortured the creature to learn who its master is. After a long night of questionable actions, he was able to discern that a night hag named Duressa sent the creature to deliver the message and that she's currently holed up in an abandoned monastery deep in the swamps to the south. Now, with the lives of his wife and unborn child in the balance, he's seeking adventurers to travel to the night hag's lair and acquire whatever cure she is offering regardless of what they must do.
