The Battleborn Rise Again: A 3rd Level Adventure for 5th Edition

$4.99

The Halfdan tribe of barbarians claim an icy isle northeast of the Cressian mainland as their own. For centuries they've warred against any who dared intrude upon their homeland. In the centuries they've resided there, neither man nor beast nor giant has been able to dislodge them. In recent years, however, Sigismund, the leader of the Halfdan tribe, has put in effort to bring his people into the modern age. Gone are the seasons of pillaging and endless battles, for under his rulership trade has prospered and the land, which has seen so much shed blood, now blooms as crops grow throughout the short and meager summers. One would think this change would be a welcome one, and truly many of the clan see the peace and prosperity as blessings. However, the restless spirits of the dead cannot let their rage stay idle.

The battleborn, the most prized and honored warriors of the Halfdan tribe, have been disappearing. Some say that ghosts lure them away in the night, while others claim a madness has overtaken their ranks. Either way, those that return have only bloodlust in their eyes and the tribe has no choice but to cut them down. Fearing for his people, Sigismund has put out a call for heroes to come to their aid before they lose their remaining warriors to this terrible curse.
